1 Millpool Terrace, Mousehole, TR19 6RD
Save the link to the offerLocated in the heart of Mousehole Janies Cottage (former home of Janie Pender) is a Cornish bolt hole perfect for couples and small families. Tucked away on a peaceful little row of granite cottages, you are a pebble’s throw from all that Mousehole has to offer, including great restaurants such as “2 Fore Street” and the harbour itself with lovely sandy beaches and quaint little shops. Janies cottage feels like a home away from home and is very atmospheric and peaceful.
This beautifully renovated traditional cottage is set over 2 floors, with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, bedroom two has two singles and the 3rd also a single bed.
The cottage is fully equipped for dining in around the big wooden table in the kitchen diner but is also well located for eating out every day as you’re really spoiled for choice in Mousehole.
There is no Garden at Janies sadly but her front steps make a great spot to sit and have a coffee first thing as the sun peeps though the rooftops. At the end of the day make sure you cosy up in front of the log burner with a good book or enjoy a film on the smart TV. Janie’s caters for younger children as well, a high chair and travel cot are included as well as a range of books and toys.
If you want to travel further afield by car St Ives is 10 miles away where you will find all sorts of activities and places to eat. For the ultimate experience head to the Minack Open Air Theatre at Porthcurnow and take in one of the fantastic shows.
The whole cottage will be solely for you, and your family during your stay.
We live locally and can be contacted by airbnb message, phone or text message.
We recommend The Coastguard Hotel if you really want to splash out, make sure you try their signature cocktails!
As well as just taking it easy during your stay if you’re more the outgoing types there are a great selection of walks on the South West Coast Path. Head East toward Newlyn or if you’re really adventurous head West to Lands End or even as far as Sennen Cove.
